Utah Music Festival and Beyond
So Friday night was awesome. The Utah Music Festival seemed to be a hit. We took the stage at The Royal at about 11:30pm and rocked till they kicked us out. Meaning, just before last call. It’s always so much fun to play to so many of our friends and make new ones along the way. The opening act was The Cold Year. Really cool three-piece band, killing it with some wild rhythms and a signature megaphone mounted on a mic stand. Then
Skye took the stage. What an awesome stage presence she has. Totally digging her look and sound. They were short a drummer so they ran digital drum tracks. It was really interesting to see them pull it off, and they did. It was really cool. I am hoping the Utah Music Festival has us back next year.
Next up: St. Patrick’s Day Weekend. March 18th, we are playing with Royal Bliss at Kamikaze’s in Ogden. I have never been to Kamikaze’s but from what Jesse and Steve were saying it is a pretty cool venue with a spacious stage and lots of room for people to dance and hang out. It’s good to get out of Salt Lake County and off to further flung places. Speaking of flinging, look for more info on shows coming up over the Spring and Summer. Most notably, March 31 and April 1 we will be in Jerome, Idaho and then Evanston Wyoming respectively. And then we are playing Saturday, August 26th in Box Elder Canyon, Tooele at the Biker Rally. Should be hella-good-time. Like I said, look for more details on those and other shows coming over the next 1-6 months.
